Dreams

Today's breadcrumb is about a key passage in Exodus, that makes the rest of the Old Testament make a lot more sense.

I had a fairly vivid dream last night, to the point where I'd like to go back to sleep for another few hours to explore the setting more. But, alas, I must wake up, so here's what I remember:

The post-apocalyptic hotel )

Today I begin teaching my regular classes at EA again. I don't need to leave the house for about three hours, but I've only half-planned my lesson so far, and I'll need at least a half-hour to an hour to do that. At least I'm not particularly worried about that. It'll come together as it always does.

I have no real other plans for the day. Karate may be on the docket, as may be second-hand-book-buying. Or not. We'll have to see. Anyway, that's it for now. TTFN.
There is a certain school of thought that asks, when job hunting, "if you never had to work again, what would you do with your life?" It is believed that the answer to this question would be useful in guiding the direction of one's career path. I decided, having nothing better to do with the next half-hour of my life, I'd try it out.

If I never had to work again, I would... )

So that's it for now. Notice how none of these things quite translates into anything that could pay me money. Though "teaching" is not technically on the list, it factors in to certain items (like SCA involvement and book discussion groups).

Ah well. I suppose this means I still need to keep doing what I'm doing, huh?
