Morning again
Jan. 9th, 2007 09:08 amToday's essay on Daily Breadcrumbs is about Jethro's visit and the system of judges he establishes over the Israelites.
Yesterday was a day of ups and downs. I had a fairly pensive afternoon, thinking about my place in the world and so forth. Mostly, they weren't happy thoughts.
I went to karate -- that helped. Endorphins = happy Julies. By the end of karate, I was feeling much more well-adjusted and calm.
I read for an hour an a half at Second Cup, finally met a friend, and wound up getting in an argument. It was not a particularly happy end to the day.
On the other hand, I came home to find a check for $58 from the government for my GST returns. Yay money.
Today's plan: prep lesson for today and tomorrow, teach, go to GEOS to pick up the stuff I need for subbing tomorrow, visit Ian's mom, go to SCA. A rather packed, full day, but at least I'll be keeping myself busy, I suppose.
