The Book of Julie, chapter 1
Sep. 23rd, 2004 09:33 amI began the following piece as something written by my character in Stupid Scenario. My character is, in some sense, me, since we're playing ourselves. So this resonates with me in reality too. What you need to know: in the game, I am a priestess of Phoenix, and have slowly been doing things that might one day bring me fame. "I" (in the game) have taken time to start writing out my thoughts, and this is what has resulted so far.
This is written in a specific form, for a specific reason. It's a manifesto, a creed. "I" (in the game, again) hope that one day, this may become a religious text. Who knows? Stranger things have happened.
Warning: it's very long (about 3 handwritten pages). Obviously, you don't have to read it. If you do, I'd love to hear your comments.
