Werewolves of the wild west

eveglassThat's right! As if I didn't have enough games already, I'm now in another! This one's inspired by the TV show Deadwood. Consequently, that means that the lines of the night are going to have more swearing than my usual readers might expect. Consider yourselves warned.
Our story opens with Philippe François Lacroix (played by Kyn), a saloon owner in the town of Goldriver, and one of his companions, Trevor Malarky (played by Marc). Both are werewolves; Lacroix for decades and Malarky for a mere three years. As founding members of the town, they've settled into their lives and are making a name for themselves.
Enter conflict, in the form of Nathan Smith (played by Sam), Peggy Guester (played by Julie), and Sven (a 10-year-old Dutch NPC), who are riding ahead of their caravan to Goldriver to get replacement wagon wheels. Their ride keeps them out past sundown on the night of a full moon, and they hear howling in the woods.
Unfortunately, it seems that while hunting and completely taken over by the beast, Philippe and Trevor accidentally "turn" all three humans. Drama ensues.
So... onwards to quotes!
[Trying to decide on a name for the new town. If it wasn't abundantly clear, note that Trevor is Irish.]
Trevor: "Why don't we call it New Dublin or something?"
Philippe: "Because we're trying to avoid drunken idiots."
Trevor: "So you're saying I'm a drunken idiot?"
Philippe: "No, I just think all Irish are drunken idiots."
Trevor: "So it's nothing personal, then."
[Peggy and Nathan hear the howl of wolves.]
Peggy: "Don't worry, they don't usually attack folk. Not unless they're really fuckin' hungry."
Philippe: (somewhere in the nearby woods) "Wow, I'm really fucking hungry."
[Sam didn't know what monsters we were becoming until we started the session and encountered Marc and Kyn, who are already werewolves.]
Sam: "I wonder what we're turning into."
Marc: "The obvious choice is mummy."
[Sometimes Ian's just too clever for his own good.]
Ian the GM: "You back into something hard and tree-like."
Julie: "Is it, in fact, a tree?"
Ian the GM: "It's furrier."
[Kyn's character Philippe is a Frenchman from New Orleans. Sometimes I can't help myself.]
Kyn: "But wait, it gets worse."
Julie: "We turn into Frenchmen!"
[Ian imported the concept of the humanity stat from Vampire: the Masquerade. Except it's kind of a personal horror game.]
Marc: (to Kyn) "What's your humanity?"
Ian the GM: "Pretty high, isn't it?"
Kyn: "Remember how I told you it'd go down the first session..."
[Waking up from their hunt as werewolves, Philippe and Trevor are completely naked.]
Philippe: "If we wake them up, what are they gonna see? Two naked men in the middle of the forest."
Trevor: "I always forget about that part."
[When Nathan and Peggy wake up, Philippe turns into a wolf and runs away. Trevor also runs away, but forgets to turn into a wolf.]
Ian the GM: "Are you trying to stealthily run away?"
Marc: "Yes."
Sam: "Don't pay any attention to the naked Irishman."
[Philippe and Trevor try to make their attack on 10-year-old Sven look like it was done by Indians. They just didn't think things all the way through.]
Nathan: "Someone used my knife."
Peggy: "To do what?"
Nathan: "Scalp him."
Peggy: "That makes all sorts of no sense!"
[Things get curiouser and curiouser.]
Trevor: "Why do you have blood around your mouth?"
Peggy: "I was gonna ask you the same fuckin' -- What did you just ask me?"
[Philippe finds out that Sven is not actually dead.]
Philippe: "Good news."
Trevor: "They skip town?"
Philippe: "You didn't kill a child."
Trevor: "He was an adult? He didn't look like an adult."
[Nathan and Peggy have breakfast at Philippe's saloon and are making small talk.]
Philippe: "I like to travel."
Peggy: "Not so much now, though, with the saloon?"
Philippe: "I like to travel in style!"
Peggy: "You take the saloon with you?"
[Just a case of Kyn ignoring the obvious.]
Philippe: "Let them get to the caravan; they can feed there. We can blame it on heathens. Or rabid dogs. Or bears, for all I care."
Julie: "Or wolves!"
[Since his original attempt to strangle Sven to death failed, Philippe realizes that he's going to have to use more aggressive means of termination. Like beheading.]
Kyn: "I'm about to commit mass murder."
Marc: "You're about the commit infanticide."
Ian the GM: "Again."
Fun times, folks. Fun times. Join us in two weeks when we find out whether Philippe actually kills a 10-year-old boy, whether Nathan and Peggy kill everyone in their caravan, and whether we all become raging balls of furry rage. See you then!
