Fondue party: successful!

The fondue party is officially a success. We got a somewhat smaller turnout than expected, due to a number of last-minute cancellations due to sickness (a hazard of holding a party a week after New Years), but everyone who showed up was a high-quality friend. We had about fifteen adults and one toddler, all told.
Massive amounts of chocolate were consumed. Today's experiment: bagels. Surprisingly tasty in chocolate! Huzzah!
Many board games were played, including Betrayal at the House on the Hill, Cranium, and Boggle. Also, an impromptu jam session broke out as Bob took out my guitar. He's better than me, I'll admit it. (But I know something he doesn't know: I am not left-handed!) The toddler, meanwhile, entertained herself with a game of "dress and undress the teddy bear." Hey, it kept her busy, and that's the important thing.
The tea swap also went well. Marc and I got rid of a number of teas we don't terribly much like and acquired one that we do. Yay for new tasty teas!
The last stragglers finally left around 10:30, and Marc and I set everything to soak. So... success on all counts. Thanks to everyone who showed, and hope to see everyone who didn't at the next party!
