An interesting side-effect of moving

eveglassOne of the unexpected side-effects of moving into my first place is that everyone is coming out of the woodwork to offer me their stuff. Furniture. Small kitchen appliances. Decorative objects. More furniture. It's crazy!
And when I say "everybody," I really do mean "everybody." My mom. Her friends. Our handyman. Marc's aunt's friends. (Yes, she specifically called me up tonight to let me know that two of her friends were moving in together and had duplicates of everything.)
On the one hand, it's going to make the whole "moving out" experience a lot less expensive. On the other, I feel like I need a spreadsheet or something. *grin*

Date: 2009-08-31 08:18 pm (UTC)My foot is completely healed, which is a very good thing. It was on the mend towards the end of War Week, and pretty much back to 100% within a week after returning home.
I heard bug horror stories too. Apparently one of my friends was one of the people the PI warned about, who had the bug crawl into her ear. I'm glad I avoided that one!
