Babylon 5 update

This post is a few days late, but on Sunday, I yet again got together with Eric and Jing to watch Babylon 5. Specifically:
1. A Voice in the Wilderness, part 1
2. A Voice in the Wilderness, part 2
3. Babylon Squared
4. Chrysalis
5. Points of Departure
The astute reader will note that we have now finished season 1 and entered season 2. Huzzah.
As we finish season 1 and begin season 2, we are left with more questions than answer. What's happening on the planet below Babylon 5? What's going on with Babylon 4? Who is "The One"? What will happen to Delenn, now that she's turned down the Grey Council's offer to lead them? Who killed President Santiago, and why? Will Garibaldi ever recover from his coma? What will Delenn look like when she emerges from her cocoon? And who does Mr. Morden work for, really?
The plot's heating up, but all we've got now is questions. Which, to my mind, makes things very interesting (since I already know the answers).
It's also fun to watch characters take those first tentative steps towards destiny. Londo finally realizes just what sort of evil he's dealing with, but at least in his mind, it's already too late to turn back. Mars has started rioting, the first steps to independence. Delenn has chosen to remain on Babylon 5, even if it means being outcast from her own society.
And, of course, this string of episodes introduced two very important characters: 1. Captain Sheridan, the new commander of Babylon 5, and 2. Zathras, one of my most favorite characters from the series. ("You take, Zathras die. You leave, Zathras die. Either way, it is bad for Zathras.")
Of course, we've skipped many episodes in first season. As a consequence, we've seen very little of Doctor Franklin (whose major episodes were mostly not plot-driving ones), and we haven't seen anything of Mr. Bester, who's also one of my more favorite characters. All that will be fixed in season 2, though.
Next week, things start changing around the station.
