Need help with Torrents (again)

Okay, I'm still trying to get the hang of this.
If I start downloading a torrent, and I'm not getting anything out of it: "0 seeds in 0 peers" and no download rate, is it worth it to keep it downloading in the hopes that it'll acquire peers in a few minutes or hours, or should I chuck it? What if it seems to be well-rated?
Keep in mind that I discovered tonight that my torrent program (BitTorrent for Mac) apparently will only download one thing at a time. Everything else is queued as "waiting," even if I'm not getting anything at all from the file that's supposed to be downloading but in fact is doing anything but.
Many thanks, oh Great LJ Brain!

Date: 2008-10-21 04:07 pm (UTC)isohunt rocks for tv shows. i also recommend, for same week tv shows torrents that have at lest 500 if not 1000 seeds. ( personnally I always get torrents in from the LOL or DIMENSION people ( you got the name in the torrent name ). Isohunt also has comments/grades by users that already finished the download so when something is bad you can see in the results list good/green comments or bad/red comments. When it doubt, go for the one with the most seeders!!!
AS someone else said, avoid just googling for them as you are opening yourself to malware, and other junk....
