Pretty lanterns!

Yesterday, I took Ian and Claire and off we went to the lantern festival at the Botanical Gardens. It was very, very pretty. I took pictures. Some of them may even be posted later today.

Now, though, gotta get ready to drive up north to visit my dad.

I've been wanting to go for a few years but never got around to it. This year! What time do you suggest going to get the most out of the lanterns?

Personally, I like seeing them lit up at night. Others like seeing them during the day, when they can make out more of the details. It's your call, really.

I think I'm with you, I prefer lit things to details... more 'magical'!
