Note to self: doing 50 jump-kicks with each leg will cause much delayed-onset-soreness the next day.

Yes, yes. It was very cool to learn to do side-jump-kicks. I suck at them, but they're fun nonetheless.

On the other hand, my legs are SO sore...

You should try,

40 front kicks - each leg, followed by
40 side kicks - each leg, followed by
40 roundhouse kicks - each, leg followed by
40 back kicks - each leg..

at least the jump kicks are fun..

I've done that. Not recently, but I've done it. It is, indeed, painful.

I'm going to try to get out to the dojo tonight for the beginner's class, even though walking up stairs causes my legs to go, "why do you hate us?"
