eveglassApparently, though my brand-new computer has or exceeds all the other requirements, the graphics card on the MacBook is simply not good enough to run Civ IV. I stand by my choice of buying this (rather than a MacBook Pro), given that I really didn't want to spend an extra $1000 to play a single game, but it stings us, precious, it stings.
On the one hand, that's countless hours I won't be frittering away playing Civ IV.
On the other had, I really, really wanted to fritter those hours.
Now, since I'm *not* going to be spending the rest of the evening gleefully playing Civ, the question is whether I want to stay downtown for 3 hours (maybe go to Chapters or something) or go home for 1.5-2, factoring in travel time.
