Dawson humanities says...

I ran into the head of Dawson's humanities department today before my shift at the Learning Centre. Here's what he said:
The upside is that the hiring committee really liked me, thought I was intelligent, articulate, and committed, and generally a good candidate.
The downside is that they thought I need to do more work on my course outlines. They don't think I've thought them through enough, and there are certain aspects I need to prepare better.
Final verdict: They're not hiring me for the replacement position, but they want me to re-submit my outlines before the hiring season for the fall semester. Once that's done, we may do another interview and re-evaluate.
So... yay and boo, all at the same time. Nothing more to see here, please move along.
