eveglassIt's been a bit since I just posted a general, "here's the stuff I've been doing" post, and I figured I was about due.
In terms of work, I started my Vanier contract this week and two contracts at a company called AON. I start another contract next week. This caused very much stress earlier in the week, especially when my first Vanier class didn't go so well. Thankfully, the second class went much better, in no small part due to the fact that I now have textbooks. I love textbooks. I now feel that I can actually complete this semester with my sanity intact, which is a pleasant feeling.
In terms of gaming, I'm continuing in Kyn's 7th Sea game to great amusement of all parties (or at least to me). And I just realized I forgot my dice at home for tonight's game -- d'oh! This is what I get for leaving the house for a whole day without properly writing down what I'll need. Oh well. Other games: Ian's Game of Thrones game continues sporadically, and is lots of fun when all the people show up. Also, Ian's started up another game in an as-yet-unrevealed system, but set in a world-of-darkenss type universe. Given the players involved (me, Marc, Kyn, and Eric) the level of roleplaying should be quite high.
In terms of relationships: my Marc is back! Yay and double-yay! It's been absolutely amazing to have him in town again. I missed my Marc-snuggles. I missed them lots. I also missed the chance to just call him up and hang out, doing nothing in particular, talking about nothing in particular. It's great to be doing all that again.
