New Stuff -- yay!

Today I headed over to LC's to help him purge his clothing and steal away some of his books. Despite his call for people to come claim his discarded clothing, the three guests were all female. Somehow, this seems typically "LC" to me. Much fun was had, and I met one of the owners of Blue Monday, which I shall now attempt to frequent. I am also pleased that I may have singlehandedly organized a new Bookcrossing hotspot, at Blue Monday. *rubs fingers together maniacly*
Afterwards, it was off to a Mexican dinner with a bunch of people from the Garou game. (Sorry for not coming to the game, guys, but I know you forgive me.) Dinner was surprisingly good and authentic, and accompanied by a band (harpist, guitar, and dancer / ukelailee). The dancer did one of her pieces with a candle perched on her head -- now that's impressive! Much more fun was had, in conversation that is best not repeated here.
Finally, back to LC's with Ian, for him to go through the piles of clothes and gaming books. (I already had snagged 4 books, but I came for the company.) By midnight, I was falling asleep (I blame lack of sleep last night). So they went off to Hatters, and I am home.
Tomorrow, hopefully, I will post up reviews of Rent and A Feast for Crows. Stay tuned: same LJ time, same LJ channel. G'night all.
