Storytelling, in- and out-of-game

This afternoon, we did character creation for a new game of Ian's. I'm playing a somewhat cold businesswoman: think Ms. Parker from Pretender without as much bitchiness, or Lise Hampton from B5 without as much naiveity (sp?). The game was enjoyable, if short. It's a good group of players.
Afterwards, I went off with Marc to hear Mike Burns storytelling at Hurley's. I am inspired for a story to do at the Enchanted Ground circle at Pennsic... if only I can remember the details by then.
In other news, my mommy bought me a suitcase as a graduation present. It's very spiffy. It's even got a matching tote bag that comes with it. Let us just say that no zipper had remained unzipped, no buckle unbuckled. When I investigate my toys, I do it thouroughly.
And now, to bed. Tomorrow I start work. I must get up Early (tm). Stupid morning...
G'night all.
