I've been browsing the internet for the last hour or so. I'm still here for another 20 minutes.

It's at times like this that I was I were still a part-timer.
1. 10 unbeatable tips for overcoming micro-addictions -- according to the article, micro-addictions include seeking approval from others, checking your email dozens of times a day (or hour), and watching television when you know you should be doing other things. Interesting tips.

2. Taking the next giant leap into space (TED talk video by Peter Diamandis -- this is by the guy who set up the X prize and talks, not only about how it was won, but also about the future of the X prize and other, similar prizes. Made me go check out the website, just to see all the cool stuff happening.

3. Why we don't understand as much as we think we do (TED talk video by Jonathan Drori) -- the beginning of the video lists four, seemingly simple questions. (Like "a seed is small; a tree is big. Where does the seed get all the 'stuff' to become a tree?") Trust me, they're not as straightforward as you think.

4. The big picture: observing Ramadan -- some absolutely stunning photos of Muslims observing Ramadan.

5. Why many “alternative income” ideas aren’t worth your time - and what you might do with it instead -- title says it all, really.

6. The prison workout -- when all you've got is a small space, your own body weight, and plenty of time, can you still get in great shape? You bet.

7. Hamlet: Facebook news feed edition -- exactly as advertised. And very funny.
