Today's breadcrumb is about the type of fruit which bloomed on the tree of knowledge of good and evil. [Defintion: a "breadcrumb" is defined as a short tidbit, generally 100 words or less, which is placed on Daily Breadcrumbs on days when I'm not writing a long essay. It will usually cover the previous passage.]

In other news: yesterday was day #2 of RoyalCon, which I'm happy to say went better than the first day. I showed up in time to catch the tail end of Ian's Streetfighter game, in which there was much combat. In the afternoon, I played in a good 'ol fashioned dungeon crawl, in which there was much combat. After the con, I went over to Ian's to play Zombies! in which there was... wait for it... much combat.

And now I'm home again. I've got a moderately busy day in whicih I have many errands to do. This evening, I'm hosting a bardic circle at my place.

Speaking of bardic, it is enormously frustrating to realize, a month after the fact, that one of my songs does not, in fact, have an original melody. I thought that my song, "I Charged the Calontiri Army," which I wrote at Pennsic, was one of those rare songs for which I actually managed to develop a melody on my own. I was wrong. As I was listening to my MP3s on random yesterday, I realized that it is, in fact, mostly the same as Master Hector's "Baron Cynred's Spear Song" off The Red Album. Oh well. Easy come, easy go.

That is all. I now return you to your regularly scheduled Monday.
