Yes, despite the massive workload I'd set for myself today, I was actually quite productive. Of the list I posted last night, I proritized 7 things as the most important, and managed to do 6 of them. This involved about two hours of Latin, and article-gathering and note-taking for about a half-dozen articles. All told, I'm pleased.

Tonight was also Tea Hut at Massey (ie: a talent show). Also fun, and my piece was received well, especially by its subject. For thsoe curious, I'll post it here.

And that's it for tonight, folks. It's my bedtime and thus I go to bed. Tomorrow I'm playing D&D and then probably heading over the House of Cheese for tasty food. Yum! G'night all!
1. The bad news: I received a letter from the head of the humanities department at Dawson sayng, essentially, that they reviewed my CV with "great interest" but they're not hiring. In other words, thanks but no thanks. Blargh. No job postings on their web site, either, but I'm still checking.

2. The good news: I found a site with videos of karate pinans. This is good because I'd been forgetting parts of the 4th and 5th pinan, and it was getting frustrating.

3. On the topic of karate, does anyone know of any good Montreal dojos? I want to start again when I get back next month. Despite my previous experience in karate, I'd be fine starting at white belt again and working my way up in the new style. Any information would be appreciated.

4. Happy "What the Heck is That?" Day! Today celebrates the first recorded sighting of an eclipse in 721 BCE. Just in case you needed a reason to celebrate after Saint Paddies.
