Death.

The fire alarm has been pulled. It is very, very loud. I will probably need to evacuate. I believe I mentioned something about people waking me up in the middle of the night, dying.

Yup, evacuation time. Ugh.

Edited, 1:52 AM: Back now. At least I remembered to bring my ipod this time so I could indulge in some escapism. I'm very, very tired. The fist of death must wait until morning. But it will come, my precious. Oh yes, someone will die.
Okay, I'll do yours if you do mine. I'm talking about the Johari / Nohari thing, of course. Let me know if my impressions of myself are the same as your impressions of me.

Today, my heater / air conditioning unit died. This morning it was making a weird smell, and when I came home this evening it refused to make the room warmer. I finally got so fed up with this state of affairs that I called the front desk, who called maintenance, who came to my room and replaced it. And now my room is warm again, and I am happy.

In other news, I managed to find a few... if not articles, then at least encyclopedia entries with bibliographies vaguely related to one of my paper topics. This pleases me. I am less pleased by my inability to take a book on reserve in the Music library to the copy place down the street that charges 3 cents per page instead of 10 cents, but as Sheridan would say "it's an imperfect universe."

After spending time in the music library, a had dinner at Massey. It was tasty and the conversation was interesting.

Tomorrow, I've got class from 10-2, after which I shall attempt to gather more articles, pack, and finally head over to [livejournal.com profile] acrabtree's for further character creation. I lead an interesting life, I know. But Wednesday... Wednesday I'm going home! Yay! So until then, I'll leave you all with a "g'night," and I shall leave the universe with the warning that if the fire alarm goes off tonight, the perpetrator will receive the Fist of Death.
