T-tunics are boring
Dec. 21st, 2005 12:06 amThe only notable thing about today was the SCA practice, at which I met many people I haven't seen for a month and a half or more. It was a schola, which means it was only classes and workshops, no fighting. The class I offered to teach (on T-tunic making) only had one student, so I plowed through it quickly and then sat in on other classes, knitted, and enjoyed myself thoroughly. Afterwards, I was joined by Ian and Marc at Tim Hortons, which was also fun.
Three pieces of progress:
1. The knitting of Isabelle's sweater is coming along VERY well. The raglan seams are sewn up, and the neckline is almost done, so it actually looks like a sweater and not just random panels of knitting. Yay!
2. I decided to start using lj tags. I'm slowly going back through old entries and tagging them, starting at the most recent and working backwards. I've done December and November so far.
3. I'm making a character for a superheros game on the 29th, GMed by Eric. I don't get to game with him often, but his games are generally both silly and contain that special something which causes all the players to become paranoid. Should be fun.
That's it for now. G'night all!
