Some very IMPORTANT notices!
Jul. 13th, 2005 05:52 pm#1: Starting next week, I will only be working half days. That is, I will be working from 9 am to 1 pm, Monday to Friday. This means for everyone whose schedules have conflicted with mine for the last few weeks (*cough cough* Yan! *cough cough*), you now have no excuses! I expect to see you, often, before I must leave for Toronto!
#2: I have a new computer! It's still getting set up, but it's new and nifty. I also have a new ipod mini. Yay to both! It does, however, mean that if anything fucks up in the next few days, computer-wise, I blame the transition period.
#3: On this lovely new computer, I'm planning on getting MSN messenger. I know, gasp shock and amazement. So, if you use MSN and want me on your friends' list, tell me your username! (I don't have one yet. I'll let you know when I do.)
#4: I will be away from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. I will be at an SCA event in the States, Great North-Eastern War. Consider yourselves informed.
I now return you to your regularly-scheduled, less-important LJ reading.
Edited to add: Okay, one small annoyance is that I can't seem to import my emails or favourites from my old computer. Seeing that I have five years worth of both, this is kind of obnoxious. Stupid OS 9!
Edited AGAIN to add: After much finicking around, it looks like I can import all my mail (which, in the end, was the more important of the two. Yay!
