Damn my obsession with telepathy

eveglassI've decided that the B5 fifth-season story arc with the telepaths could have been wonderful, if only they had someone like Marcus leading them instead of Byron. Gods, how Byron annoys me. The worst part is that I love telepathy and stories about telepathy so much, that I'm willing to sit through the pain of Byron in order to see Bester.
Incidentally, of all the stories, books, and movies I've ever watched about telepathy, I like the way B5 does it best. Not so much in terms of the social status (though that's nifty, too), but more in terms of how their powers work. I've actually written one or two psi-corps fanfics, and surprisingly most of one is still online, posted to Alternate Universe 'way back in 1999. Having just reread it, some of the formatting is off and the end is missing, so I'm not going to post the link, but if anyone's interested, you can comment and I'll email it to you.
In other news, I had class this morning until 2 pm, and then did about two and a half hours of work before 6 pm. Namely, I did 4 pages of Latin and took notes on 2 articles for my music paper. My goal is to start writing tomorrow and get 6-8 pages done before I need to leave for Latin. (Ah, naive optimism.) Tomorrow afternoon, I should do the readings for Thursday's class, which I haven't even touched yet. At some point, my brother is coming to T.O. and I really should spend some time with him, given that I'm the reason for his visit. :)
