Most people reading this know me relatively well. So I have a question for you:

What job can you imagine me doing and enjoying? What job do you think would be a good fit for me?

Feel free to list as many or as few as you like. The only requirement is that it must be an actual job with which I can make money.

For some reason, I see writing fiction.

I'm fairly certain I specified being able to make money was one of the requirements. :)

A journalist in a literary arts magazine, who writes fiction on the side, while doing historical research in a museum. And who writes fiction in the hopes of making a living out of it.

second on the museum avenue, and on the writing, mayhaps as a side project a la Mists of Avalon (i.e. researching the era, background, trying to match up facts to fiction, then going in your own direction with it drawing on your gamin experiences)?

Again, she said she wanted to make a living. Unless she manages to jump to a hugely successful literary arts magazine, where she might make barely above minimum wage, freelance writing sucks as a job.
