eveglassDespite the range of emotions expressed on my lj today, my real-life day was pretty boring, consisting of laundry, msn chatting, and schoolwork. I did less schoolwork than I'd like, but enough. I still need to get articles to take home with me on Wednesday.
Today had several annoyances, among them:
- the continuing "shrinking sheets" saga. I swear, the fitted sheets no longer fit on my bed.
- return of the scratchy throat annoyance. I think that the 3 am fire drill two nights ago caused my sore throat to come back. Stupid fire drill!
- spider bite? I've got something on my arm that, judging from past experience, is probably a spider bite. I have no idea how a spider bit my arm, but apparently the little bugger managed.
- homesickness. It seems that in the weeks approaching a homecoming, I get increasingly homesick and lonely. At least I'll get over that in 3 days.
And now, to counterbalance the annoyances, some good things:
- I got pretty much all my Latin done for tomorrow, so I don't need to worry about it in the morning.
- I did my readings (if not the summary to hand in) for my Tuesday class.
- I have clean clothes. This should not be understated. Clean underwear = good.
- more lj icons. I found some really nifty icons today which I downloaded. No, I haven't actually added them to my profile, and probably never will. But I like them anyway. Think of it as collecting.
Okay, so my life isn't exciting. Sue me. I think a shower would be perfect to soothe my throat, so that's where I'm off to. I'll be up until about 11:30, if anyone has a burning desire to call me. If not... G'night all.
