Ah, Montreal

Well, my first day back in Montreal was full of all those things that typify Montreal for me:

- Breakfasted on bagels, cream cheese, and lox. If there's a more quintessential Jewish Montreal breakfast, I don't know it.
- Snow. A bit falling from the sky, but mostly on the ground and covering my car. No driving for me today.
- French. Spoken and written. I managed to hold my own.
- Hugs! Lots and lots of hugs! Thanks to everyone at Ian's party for welcoming me back!
- Cats. Three of them. At Ian's apartment. I lasted for about eight hours before my lungs said, in no uncertain terms, "Leave. Now. Do not pass go. Do not collect two hundred dollars." So I did.

And now I'm home. I'll take a shower to attempt to breathe a bit easier (though, in truth, I've been much better since getting out of the hot, stuffy, cat-hair-filled apartment and taking my inhaler). Then to bed.

I have no plans until Tuesday evening. If you want to get together with me over the next week, let me know! I want to see as many people as possible!

Aw drat. I am in no uncertain terms free at all till Wednesday morning (Exams and Massive Papers).

But despite: Welcome back! Perchance we could organize a Monops game sometime before Thursday? Arieh has an awesome new Monopoly set!
