I started the day quite well, got about 5-6 pages done before lunch. Now it's 2:30, and I'm up to 16 and a half pages for the main paper (making a grand total of 9 pages written today) and, because my brain refused to do that anymore, one page of the appendix I'm adding on for Goering.
Though I'm enjoying writing this section more, it seems to be taking much longer because I have to think things out as I'm writing. I need to find the saints, and what page they're listed on, and try to figure out what it all MEANS, and then write it out. So... fun, but brain-draining.
My plan for the rest of the day is to finish up the appendix if I can (it needs to be 5-10 pages, and it's not particularly research-heavy), then (depending on the time) go to PIMS or straight to SCA practice, where they're going to be talking about feudalism in the SCA and in history. (Yay for social history discussions NOT based on boring articles!)
