Databases are not articles

eveglassSo far today I've managed to read half an article. This is not good.
On the upside, I put all 100 saints into a spreadsheet on my computer. It took about an hour and a half. Having the spreadsheet is good in that it allows me to see certain things at a glance that were previously obscure, but bad in that I don't actually have any more information than I had this morning.
I'm leaving in 10 minutes to go to the library and hopefully fill in some of the blanks. I just thought I'd post something and feel connected to people who are not me.
Edited, 3:45 pm: I give up. An hour in the library netted me the following information: 1. none of the bishops of Laon are listed in the relic list, 2. it's damned hard to find saints if you don't know their feast day. So that's it for me. I'm going to read another article or two and maybe a chapter of the Vulgate to keep up my Latin. I'm still missing about a quarter of the saints and I don't care anymore. I'm SO not ready to write this paper. Sigh.
