Much better

As a counterpoint to yesterday, things that made me happy today:
1. Real snow. Snow that stayed on the ground and made my coat white-speckled as I walked in it. Yay snow!
2. Spending two hours with Prof. Kullmann hammering out a transcription and translation for the Old French in my manuscript. I am happy to say that aside from a few words here and there, I have a complete transcription and translation and can now get to work doing secondary research.
3. Massey coffee house! The vast majority of acts were either hilarious or damned talented. The first annual lip synch contest was utterly fantastic: I've never seen so much work go into lip synch before.
4. Performing at Massey coffee house! I did two songs. Despite a few minor slip-ups, they were both VERY well received. The audience clapped along, laughed in all the right places, and congratulated me afterwards. I even got someone shouting out "marry me!" (I turned him down. He was too tall.) AND I got the rush I always get after performing for a large audience. Yay!
5. Dancing after coffee house! Lots of fun. I stayed for about a half-hour and then left, despite the protestations of some of my friends.
All in all, I'm feeling much, much better. And now I'm going to bed. G'night all!
