A number of things have made me very "blah" today:
1. It was considerably colder today that it has been lately, and little white pebbles fell from the sky. Normally I like snow, but there wasn't enough of it to be a true snowfall, just enough to tease.
2. Someone in our Latin class (identity unknown) suggested that we read more. None of us were brave enough to suggest that we really don't want more work during term-paper season. So our Latin workload has effectively doubled for the next three weeks.
3. I just found out my bubby (grandmother) is in the hospital. She should be released by Sunday, we hope.
4. I did *not* go the French table at Massey because I remembered I have a meeting tomorrow morning and therefore need to get my schoolwork done tonight.
5. I'm not going to see Harry Potter on Saturday night with lots of Massey people because I will be gaming instead. Much as I like gaming, I also want to see Harry Potter. (Everyone's going to wear their Massey robe! How cool is that! How sucky that I'm missing it!)
Yeah... not happy. I'm going to knit now and listen to podcasts. At some point tonight, I might or might not be on MSN. Feel free to send me virtual hugs
Edited to add: 6. I messed up the very end of my knitting tonight because the directions were unclear. Instead of taking 12 rows to do the neckline, I took 16. Which means it's about 3/4" too long! I have no idea how this will affect the rest of the pattern, and I am annoyed. Annoyed and sleepy. Stupid pattern. At last now I'll know what to do next time, right? Right?!? (And anyone who tells me that Isabelle will have grown out of this pattern by the next time I knit it will get decked. Seriously.)

Date: 2005-11-18 03:36 pm (UTC)You should bring up the term-paper overlap in your next class. And best wishes to your bubby.

For the first few years that we lived here, that was the prefect description of a Toronto winter. :)

Date: 2005-11-18 05:07 pm (UTC)At least I'll have 2-3 weeks in Montreal to re-acquaint myself with snow, I suppose...

Date: 2005-11-21 08:37 pm (UTC)Well, it all depends. Our first few winters here were relatively snow-free. The last few, however, have been trying to make up for it I think...
