Productive afternoon... I think

This morning started off lazily. Woke up around 9 (still letting my body fight the not-breathingness of athsma), had breakfast, read 5 or 6 articles for my class Thursday morning. Also began making the blocks for... Latin Boggle! That's right, boys and girls, there will be Latin Boggle this Friday in addition to Latin Scrabble. I invite all CMS people to come join me and playtest it. The letters are based on the Latin Scrabble distribution.
Off to Latin class, and then did the Latin midterm. Despite what I'd been told, it wasn't that bad. I blanked on some vocabulary, but I knew my vocabulary isn't where it should be. The rest of it seemed fairly straighforward. I'll know for sure next week.
Finally, I spent about 45 minutes with Prof. Goering going over my transcription. We're not done (we've covered about 1/3-1/2 of what I've got), but we did a healthy chunk of it. I got a bit silly midway through, but he seemed to enjoy it.
In other circumstances, it would worry me that the most interesting, enjoyable schoolwork I've done all semester is transcribing languages I barely know from a manuscript whose hand I've never read. Now I'm just glad I've got something I consider fun and interesting amidst the masses of scholastic reading.
Tonight I'm going to a fancy dinner and lecture at Massey. If I leave now, I'll have about an hour to get dressed up Pretty and maybe do some more readings for Thursday morning. TTFN!
