eveglassIt's that time of week again: greater curses! Divine intervention! The end of the world as we know it! That's right, it's time for... The Voice of Doom!
[The Fat Man, an extremely powerful underworld boss, is calling out Neyrr in three days.]
Andrew the GM: "...Because you've taken everything he's ever loved..."
Eric: "I have? Huh."
[I hate people like this.]
Black Foot: "Is there something we should know about?"
Neyrr (Eric): "Yes. (And then I teleport.)"
[Gotta wonder what the other alternatives were...]
Tortured Pelorian: "Yes, strapped to the rack seems to be my best bet."
[Neyrr has just rescued some tortured Pelorians from the hands of the doomsayer cult. Trust it to Neyrr never to turn down an opportunity for product placement.]
Neyrr: "Pelor loves you, Gun'Mora rescues you."
Pelorian: "Thank you, thank you, thank you! How can we ever thank you enough?"
Neyrr: "Pray to Pelor, don't kill lizardfolk, and buy Abu's Refreshing Tonic."
[Azlo is trying to one-up his rival, whose name I've forgotten.]
Azlo's rival: "I've been doing this longer."
Azlo: "Yes, but you've been doing a piss-poor job of it."
[Azlo has just revealed that he was the one who killed the Death Titan's heart, thus taking over the Death Titan's body, mere moments before all the gods killed it.]
Azure, god of murder: "I think my day just got worse and better at the same time."
[Neyrr has a unique perspective on the world.]
Neyrr: "They're not my enemy, they're an annoyance."
[A madame named Ember just put a greater curse on Lyanna. Azlo decides to be helpful and "deal" with Ember.]
Azlo: "Asera, I'm going to say this with complete honesty: go in the temple unless you want to die."
[Pelor, a.k.a. the ascended Crimson Phantom, removes Lyanna's curse. Unfortunately, he's still learning how to use his divine powers and put a little too much energy into it. Consequently, Lyanna has now been blessed with the "Sight of Pelor," which makes her eyes glow like flashlights and harm the undead, as well as giving her constant True Sight. It is a sign of the utmost holiness, and Lyanna is only the fourth person to have ever been so blessed.]
Pelor / Crimson Phantom: "You're one of the most holy now. I did that by accident?"
