As the crucible was leaving for the rendez-vous at the safe house, Lacuna noticed something odd about Chet's appearence while projected. He looked a little more... a little more like Gabriel. Her eyes went wide and looked up at Chet. He looked back at her with her habitual coldness and simply said 'I know.' She went to reach for his hand, and he either ignored it or didn't notice as he walks off. Lacuna started shaking and holding back tears, and when she started to cry, Chet took off on his wings and left her next to Benoit. Lacuna lets out a sob and says over and over 'I can't do this, this can't be happening.'
Benoit then takes her hand and sugests that maybe she goes back to the house if she can't be together or herself. She replies that the group needs her, and Benoit states that the group needs her coherent and aware more then this. She wipes back her tears, shakes her head and puts on her game face, reminding herself that she is in control and can do this. ((she finally made the wilpower roll! Yeay!))
And she continues to walk towards the safe house, Benoit hang back and wipes the hand the was holding hers, and seems awefully disturbed about something.
