Somehow, I feel I should be working

eveglassYesterday was a slow, mellow day. I left the house a bit later than I would have liked (around 11:30) to walk down to the TMR library and then up to Rockland to develop some photos. The library was closed as I past it, so straight up to Rockland for me. I submitted my digital prints and they told me to come back in a half-hour.
A half-hour of store-browsing later (note to self: looking at manequins makes me get body issues; try to avoid it) I went back to the Pharmaprix. My pictures weren't ready because there was a huge order before mine. They said my picutres might be ready in an hour. Now I had a choice: stay around Rockland, with no book and no money to buy food, getting ever hungrier and more miserable looking at the manequins, or go home. I decided that hunger trumped photos and high-tailed it back home, stopping only at the now-open library along the way.
By the time I got home, had lunch, and checked my email, my photos were ready. So, feeling somewhat foolish, I hopped in my car to go pick them up. (I'm not so foolish as to do that walk twice in a single day.) Came back, made some chai, did some writing, and pretty much waited around for gaming people to show up.
Gaming was. This was the pseudo-Firefly game. This week's session was set on Risa, the pleasure planet. Star Trek fans will recognize this name. The rest of you will wonder how we're geeking out this time.
Game ended. I read until Marc called. I look forward to Marc calls, I really do. Then to bed.
Today I don't work, but I do need to plan my lesson for tomorrow and do some errands. If you're lucky, I may even write up a Daily Breadcrumbs essay or two. Anyway, now it's off to Tim's for breakfast. I've got a hankering for their breakfast biscuits. TTFN!
