I hear you on not getting paid the worth. I teach part-time at our local college and 30$/hr turns out to be $15 when I take into account the lesson planning, marking, etc. Even college teaching is a lot of EXTRA work. Try getting into the "continuing ed" division, cuz once you're in, you're considered "internal". Good luck!
