How is a seder like Babylon 5?

In answer to the question in the subject line: not at all, except perhaps that they were both things that played a role in my life today.
Three things to report:
1. Paper #2 is now almost 16 pages written. The plan is to finish it tomorrow so that I can edit it over the weekend. (Ye gads, it's going to need heavy editing! Huge sections with only 1 source!) Also this weekend will be editing paper #1, which is due on Monday. Ideally, they'll both be edited by the time I return to Toronto Saturday night. Then I can devote myself entirely next week to writing paper #3 and preparing for the Latin exam.
2. Tonight was seder at Massey. I was one of the two co-hosts, though in actuality the other host did almost all of the work. The turnout was good -- about 18 people, about half-and-half between Jews and gentiles. It was heavily abridged, but fun anyway. I got a chance to sing a bit (including the 4 questions, because I was the youngest person who knew them!) and eat some really good haroset and kugel. All told, I consider it a success.
3. When I got home, I watched 3 episodes from near the end of season 5: And All My Dreams, Torn Asunder, Movements of Fire and Shadow, and The Fall of Centauri Prime. Why oh why couldn't the first half of season five be as good as the second? This stuff is right back up at the standards of season 3 and 4, and I'd happily watch the last 4 episodes of the series if I didn't need to wake up at a reasonable hour tomorrow. If only there wasn't so much obnoxiousness to get through in order to watch it.
But yes... very, very good episodes tonight. I am pleased.
And now it's almost midnight, and I should start thinking about sleep. Tomorrow I'm coming home on the 5 pm train and arriving around 9:30. I will be in for one day, heading back out to Toronto Saturday evening. Why, you ask? My grandpa is being bar mitzvahed! Yes, it's true! He never had one, so he's having one now. I figure, how often does one's grandfather get bar-mitzvahed? There no way I'm going to miss this! So... train tomorrow night, another train Saturday night. The things I do at end of semester time...
Anyway, g'night all.
