My God! If I was this productive every day, I could run marathons or something! I'd actually been keeping a running tally all day of what I was doing when (like in my "adventures in cooking" post) but it got too unwieldy. So here are a few of the highlights:
- Called my grandmother to apologize for being a rotten granddaughter. I forgot to call her to wish her happy birthday yesterday. She forgave me anyway.
- Swept the floor, washed a whole lot of dishes, tackled a whole lot of piles.
- Signed up for a beginning drawing class at the
visual arts centre. Tuesday afternoons, starting next week.
- Booked an appointment with my GP for a check up. Receptionist: "How are you at being spontaneous? We've got a cancellation tomorrow morning." So... fasting for me tonight.
- Called Corningware to get my cracked casserole dish replaced. Remarkably hassle-free. It'll be here within two weeks.
- Called Hydro Quebec to figure out why they'd canceled my bill, only to discover it wasn't actually canceled at all. Paid my bill. Got Hydro to send me future communications in English.
- Arranged with my bank to get copies of my cheques sent back to me at the end of the month so I can have a receipt that I paid my rent on time.
- Walked down to the library and back (an hour in total). Returned some books and got new ones.
- Did a load of laundry.
- Bought groceries. We were running low on just about everything. Now we're not.
- Snuggled with Marc.
- Cooked a tasty and healthy dinner.
- Caught up on
some forums where I'm a moderator.
- Wrote a 1,000-word story for a roleplaying character of mine.
If only I could have one of these days a week, I'd be totally on top of everything in my life. Whew!
