Having finished all the library books I picked up on Tuesday, do I brave the -30 windchill (-22 F for the Americans out there) to go back to the library and get more books, or do I content myself with the contents of my bookshelf until tomorrow, when hopefully it will be warmer?

Jan. 30th, 2010 10:41 pmYesterday, as part of his paramedic training, Marc got a blood pressure cuff. So, good little girlfriend that I am, I let him practice on me.
It's truly, truly odd to feel your own pulse through the entire length of your arm. Not entirely pleasant, either.
I'll let him do it again, but I can't say I'll enjoy it.
(And, to answer a sentiment by Marc's father, no, this is not "playing doctor." Playing doctor would involve a lot more enjoyment on my part, I'm sure.)
