A day without LJ...

I have to admit, this whole "no LJ at work" thing is quite difficult for me, especially when coupled with the twin forces of working a late shift and going out after working, meaning that I was cut off from my precious, precious friends' list for 14 hours. No chance to just pop on quickly and see what's the absolute latest in the LJ-o-sphere. No chance to post a little three-sentence snippet about my files (not that there was anything particularly funny about today's files). It's an adjustment, that's for sure. Perfectly justified on my boss' part, but still makes my fingers twitchy.

On the other hand, had a lovely evening with Marc once I got some food in my system to take the edge of the hunger-induced crankiness. It's been -- goodness! -- over three months since I got to spend an evening with my boyfriend. Yay for Marc being back in town!

Anyway, it's now time to take a shower and go to bed. The knowledge that it's a three-day weekend coming up fills me with much happiness.
