Just an update
May. 30th, 2009 10:44 amMarc's been gone for over a week. I've been finding ways to keep busy -- seeing friends and family, going to an SCA event -- but those ways would obviously be even more wonderful yet if Marc were around.
I've decided that this year, instead of sending letters in the mail like I did the last two years, I'm going to use SendOutCards instead. I can do nifty thing like put pictures of the two of us on the front of the cards, and more than that, I'm much more of a "typing" than a "handwriting" person. I haven't hyped SOC in a while, so just a reminder that you can click the link and set up an account to send a few free cards (on me) if you want to test out the system.
In other news, Eric and I started a new Civ game last night, and found myself in fits of laughter several times because he programmed his custom units to respond with sounds from Invader Zim. You tell your worker to build a mine, for example, and he might reply, "Yay! We're doomed!" Now my brain is pondering making a race with B5 sounds. Mwa-ha-ha.
And that's it for this morning. Nothing like working a desk job to make you really appreciate lazy weekend mornings. Hope your Saturday is treating you well.
