Can I stay home? C'mon, please?

It's days like this -- when it's cold outside and hot inside, when I've discovered a cool new site I want to explore, when it's dark in the mornings -- that I just want to stay home.

Stupid full-time job.

Deja vu

Back in 1993, we had one of those movie-network decoder boxes that let you watch all the movies without paying for them. (At least, I assume we didn't pay for them.) My brother and I took advantage of this.

Back then, the movie Cool Runnings was the next big thing. (Was Cool Runnings ever a big thing? I leave that up to you.) In any case, my brother decided he liked the movie. He liked it so much that he watched every single showing on the Movie Network for at least a week. Maybe two weeks. He watched it so much that I could probably have quoted it to you verbatim. I probably still can.

So... wanna guess what movie I'm working on today? Huh?

It's like deja vu all over again.

Egads!

What is it with these uber-long, challenging files I've been getting over the last week and a half? Yesterday was nice and simple, and today I'm back on the "head 'splode now, kthxbye*."

Did you know Cool Runnings has songs? Songs that need to be included for the deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences? Songs that don't have lyrics anywhere on the internet? Songs that are in fast, impossible-to-understand Jamaican accents?

Yeah, me either. Until today. Stupid songs.
