Does this get easier?

A query for my working-world friends: does this get easier?

Don't get me wrong: I really like my job, I work with fun people, and the pay isn't bad. But I just can't wrap my brain around the concept of going into an office 8 hours a day, 240 days a year (assuming 10 statutory holidays and 2 weeks' vacation) for the next 30-40 years of my life. I really, really can't. Do you get used to it, or what?

Time for bedtime

I started writing this post and then realized that the only things coming out were very, very trivial mundanities from my day. It must be time for bed.

(As a completely unrelated reflection, the above two sentences would be too long for a Twitter post. Think about it.)
