On the up-side, Bond. On the down-side...
Jul. 3rd, 2008 11:39 amToday's file is a featurette from a Bond movie. (Sorry, can't mention which one, other than that the movie has already been out of theatres for several years.)
On the up-side, yay Bond!
On the down-side, I'm rapidly coming to loathe working on "making of" featurettes. Have you ever watched a featurette and said, "Wow, it's so cool that they've got a script, so that they can subtitle all those mumbles and nearly-inaudible sections, otherwise I'd have no idea what those people were saying!"
Here's a piece of insider knowledge: there aren't any scripts for featurettes. All those subtitled mumbles, walkie-talkie conversations, and background speech? All that stuff is subtitled by people like me listening to those sentences two dozen times until we figure out what they're saying.
So, yay Bond, but boo for listening to the same 2-second mumble several dozen times.
