That's a first
Jun. 12th, 2008 12:38 amTonight, I carried a single box from Ian's apartment to my car. One box. Down two flights of stairs and across the street.
Somehow, in that short amount of time, both my arms got really itchy and irritated. Within seconds, there were marks along my right forearm and left upper arm, which I'd call bug bites except I know there weren't any bugs around.
I have never, ever before had a skin irritation that sudden. Ian theorizes I'm allergic to dust. Marc and I assume it probably has something to do with the cats.
Anyway. I took an antihistamine about 20 minute ago and it finally seems to be starting to work. The marks are still there, but the redness and itchiness is much diminished. With luck, I'll even be able to fall asleep so that I can wake up early to be at work a half-hour early tomorrow.
Ugh. Now to get 6 hours of sleep before I need to be awake again.
