Question for Judaically-knowledgeable friends

I'm passing on a question from my dad, that I think some of my friends are better qualified to answer than I am:

If I were looking for information on traditional Jewish attitudes towards dying, especailly on such matters as euthanasia, mercy killings, and assisted suicides, where would I start looking? Any books, web sites, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
