Busy beaver
Sep. 13th, 2006 09:43 amI'm getting a late start this morning, for some reason. I generally try to be ready to do work (or, in this case, job hunting) by 9 am. It's currently 9:45, and I haven't even showered yet. Ah well. An hour of non-productivity isn't going to kill me.
Meanwhile, I've been going over my schedule for the next few months. My weekends are surprisingly busy. To whit:
Sept. 15-16: Flames of the Equinox (local SCA event in the Eastern Townships)
Sept. 23-24: free weekend, which also happens to be Rosh Hashana (Jewish new year)
Sept. 30: Dancing Cock Brothers show
Oct. 6-8: Cooks and Bards (SCA event in Toronto)
Oct. 14: Fall Harvest (local SCA event)
Oct. 21: Ian's birthday party
Oct. 28: Shadowcourt (long-running Halloween party)
Nov. 4-5: free weekend (whew!)
Nov. 11: EKU (SCA event in Boston, which I may or may not attend)
Nov. 17/18: either Feast of the Hare (SCA event in Ottawa) or Toronto for the CMS convocation
So that's the next two months of weekends planned out. And, despite all the events, it looks like I'll still be able to make all but one of the biweekly games I've got Sunday afternoons. This gets us as far as December, with all the craziness attached to that month.
I suppose I should find some money somewhere to finance all this, eh? Back on the job-hunt for me!
