Morning update
Sep. 11th, 2006 08:14 amMy room is cold. I am seriously considering turning on the heat in the house (or at least asking my mom to do so), because I just didn't want to get out of my nice, warm bed this morning.
Yesterday was a day of coffeeshops, apparently. I got together with
jasmine_koran for an hour an a half in the early afternoon, Eric in the later afternoon, and
iangurudata in the evening. Much pie was consumed, as well as much tea. I may not have had a proper meal all day, but pie is a decent substitute, right? (Right?!?)
So. Today is a new week, and I'm back on the job hunt, at least in theory. I'm going to start trying to get back in touch with some people in my network, do some research on companies I'd like to contact, send off an application to the Editors' Assocation of Canada, and stuff like that. I'm not sure I'll do cold-calling today; only time will tell.
And that's it for now. With a little luck, I'll have something more interesting to post this afternoon. Cheers!
Edited, 10:02 am: Please note that I've made a few brief edits to the sonnets I wrote the other day, in response to some very helpful critiques. The sonnets can be seen here and here.
