It never ceases to amaze me...
Apr. 22nd, 2006 12:33 amIt came as a very pleasant shock that 20-25 people came out tonight for my going-away party. I guess I still feel like the unpopular high school kid, and it always surprises me to find out this isn't true anymore. So... the party was great. I've got pictures, and I may post one or two tomorrow once I've downloaded them to my computer. Thanks to everyone who came out to give me hugs, buy me drinks, and generally wish me well.
In other exciting news, I am now pre-reged for Pennsic and signed up to teach two classes. Thanks to everyone who offered advice on the blurbs I posted a while ago. For all the Pennsic-goers out there, I will be camping with Duchess Katherine and the rest of "The Dark," which is the same camp as Freya. If past history holds true, it's just north of the north gate, which will be significantly closer to "downtown" Pennsic than the last time I was there.
Finally, I finished watching B5 today: Objects in Motion and Objects at Rest. I decided to skip Sleeping in Light, partly because I saw it very recently, and partly because I didn't feel like a tear-jerker episode today. I love the series, though, and am very happy I've now watched it the entire way through, in order, twice (once during the initial run, and now).
So... tomorrow I'm tutoring in the morning, and playing D&D in the afternoon/evening/night. There are worse ways to spend my last full day. G'night all.
