Daily update, a day late
Dec. 29th, 2005 11:58 amYesterday I did not do many of the things I had intended: no DDR, no Latin, no button-buying or button-sewing. Looked at from this perspective, the day was not a success.
However, I had a great time. It was definitely a day of small children. Over the course of the day, I got to play with four children, ranging in age from 14 months to 5 years. I like small children. I tend to like anyone shorter than me, but small children have the added bonus of cuteness.
I also went to Chris and Phil's party (at which three of the four aforesaid children were). Isabelle is getting huge and was zooming around all over the place. She also discovered stairs, apparently for the first time, and had a great time crawling up them. (She wanted to crawn down, but this was a Bad Idea.) There was also a fisher-price style remote-control helicopter. I controlled it, and she chased after. This lasted for nearly ten minutes. It was almost as much fun a combination as cats and laser pointers.
( And my utter lack of cooking skill reared its ugly head. How hard can it be to melt chocolate?!? )
Afterwards I went over to Ian's to watch him play Pirates! (I'm so addicted). I also got very annoyed at Charlie, who was being very affectionate and thus causing me allergies. Dumb cat! I love you, but leave me alone!
And that's it. Today will consist of button-buying and roleplaying. Yay.
