Tonight I went to see the premier for episode 9 of Pure Pwnage. Little brother, if you're reading this, go check out that link!

The theatre was packed to the brim with teenage fanboys and gamer geeks. I don't think I've seen that male:female ratio in a theatre since the opening of Starship Troopers. They were a lively bunch, which was fun. And, while I didn't know any of the main actors, I knew most of the extras and bit parts (from Massey). I did not go to the afterparty; instead I came home so that I can sleep and do readings tomorrow.

So that's it for tonight, folks. G'night!
Of all the articles I got from the library over the past few days, I have two English ones and half a French one left. (About 55 pages of English and 20 of French.) Do you know what this means? It means I must go to the library and get more! Yes indeedy! First, lunch. Then library trips to the well-ordered but uncirculating shelves of PIMS, and then to the chaos of Robarts. Then back home for... wait for it... more reading! I do exciting things with my life, obviously.

On the one hand, I now know much more about relics and relic lists than I did two days ago. On the other, I still need to know much more in order for my paper to be longer than, say, 3 pages. (Given that I need to write 20-30 pages, I have much work ahead of me.) But first, lunch.

Edited to add: Of course, on my way to lunch I managed to lock my wallet in my room. My wallet contains both my meal card and my room key. So there was a brief delay in lunch-eating as I waited for security to let me back in to my room. But now, onwards to food. This time for real.

After quite a bit of reading (and three hours going from library to library to photocopier) I have about 55 pages of English reading and 35 of French reading left for tomorrow. I want to get it done by noon so that I can do some different research tomorrow (which will, alas, require me to be physically IN the library). I stopped beause my brain stopped. I actually stopped in mid-article, utterly incapable of reading the last 10 pages. It will wait.

I know my brain stopped, because I was doing a meme and saw the result ("You are green tea") and thought to myself "you ARE green tea"? It took me a good five seconds to realize that "are" is, in fact, the correction conjugation to be used in that sentence. Don't ask me what I thought the correction conjugation actually was during those five seconds -- I don't know. But it proves my brain is officially dead.

I'm going on at great length about this because I really didn't do much interesting with my day today. To make it up to you, I found a link for a Lego tarot deck. Yes, you read correctly. It's both hilarious and deeply disturbing (in that "you've got WAY too much time on your hands" kind of way).

And now, off to shower and perhaps knit. That is, if the computer doesn't draw me in again. (If it does, I'll be on MSN. Feel free to come online and chat.) Tomorrow will be another day of research, followed by Raclette night at Massey. G'night all.
