Some good things
Sep. 2nd, 2005 11:19 amA few random good things I wanted to share:
- After a month and a half, my only annoyance with my new computer has been solved. On my old word processor, I was able to create macros to do menu items that didn't have hotkeys. This new word processor does not have any macro functions. This annoyed me greatly, because I relied on being able to use hotkeys to make bullet-point notes without using my mouse. (A function for which there is no hotkey.) Finally, today, I figured out how to do it on this computer (specifically: use the "keyboard shortcuts" control panel to create a new shortcut). I am happy now.
- My dorm room will have a bigger bed than my current one, a landline, and (if I bring a TV) cable. Yet again, these are happy-making things.
That's it. I now return you to your regularly scheduled LJ.
